This was really an evening filled with laughter, music and great conversation!<\/p>\n

We started with Ross performing the James Bond theme followed by \u2018Fade To Black\u2019 by Metallica and \u2018Tears Don\u2019t Fall\u2019 by Bullet for my Valentine. (Ross is studying the guitar with me)<\/p>\n

We then proceeded to listen to Meng perform the \u2018The Little Sonata\u2019 by Charles Henry Wilton as well as \u2018Les Cinq Doigts\u2019 by Igor Stravinsky.<\/p>\n

Marie-Danielle then performed the Swan Lake by Tchaikovsky. (A beautiful performance!)<\/p>\n

Christian performed \u2018March of the Geese\u2019 by Granada and Terry performed \u2018Moody Prawn Blues\u2019 by Franklyn.<\/p>\n

After that, we had the pleasure of listening to Alexander perform the first movement of \u2018Sonatina Opus 36 number 1\u2019 by Clementi as well as \u2018Live and let die\u2019 by Sir Paul McCartney.<\/p>\n

Cho Cho sang magnificently and she really brought the house down with \u2018Skyfall\u2019 by Adele and \u2018Moonlight in Vermont\u2019 by Blackburn and Suessdorf.<\/p>\n

Mark performed his first improvisation (on his Gibson Les Paul) with us and it was truly wonderful. <\/p>\n

Anthony then impressed the audience with his superb vocal talent by performing \u2018You Know My Name\u2019 by Chris Cornell and \u2018The Girl from Ipanema\u2019 by Antonio Carlos Jobim.<\/p>\n

He then proceeded to perform his original composition. We were all superbly impressed!<\/p>\n

After this, we listen to Duncan perform misty by Errol Garner. He really played a beautiful jazz piano solo and we are all very proud of his performance!<\/p>\n

Yes, we had a very busy programme! \u2013 A REALLY GREAT TIME!<\/p>\n

After this, we had Celia performing the second movement of \u2018Sonata Opus 457\u2019 by Mozart. Great performance indeed!<\/p>\n

Diane then performed \u2018Nocturne Opus 72 Nr. 1\u2019 by Chopin.<\/p>\n

Claire played a beautiful version of the first movement of \u2018Sonata Opus 13 by Beethoven\u2019.<\/p>\n

Daan proceeded to perform \u2018Prelude Number 15 in Db major\u2019 by Chopin and and \u2018Goldfinger\u2019 by Shirley Bassey.<\/p>\n

Finally, we had Laurence performing his original composition. And as we said in previous programmes, Laurence is a master of songwriting. He could have been a member of the Beatles. Perhaps he chose the better road \u2013 insurance!<\/p>\n

At the end we had Christian performing ‘Firth of the Fifth’ from Genesis along with myself and I tried to play an epic guitar solo (with many fast notes\u2026 Yes that\u2019s my style) which I am glad to say succeeded! (At least according to Terry!)<\/p>\n
